The stone circle described for the first time in the 19th century is the southernmost in the Herault and is around 60.0 m in diameter. The stones are 1.5–2.0 meters wide and about 1.0 meters high. Some of the larger stones are slightly inclined. Others are overgrown on the ground.

Nearby is a 2.5 m high menhir on the ground. About 2.0 km east, north of the lagoon city of Frontignan is the Dolmen de la Coste .
