The Pionerskiy Dome ( Russian Купол Пионерский Kupol Pionerski , German 'Pioneer Dome ' ) is an ice-covered mountain in Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It rises 115 km south-southwest of the Grove Mountains .
Soviet scientists discovered and named it in 1958. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred this name in 1971 in a partial translation into English.
