Piotr Babinetz
Piotr Mieczysław Babinetz (born September 9, 1969 in Krosno ) is a Polish politician , local politician, historian and since 2007 a member of the Sejm in the VI ., VII . and VIII . Electoral term.
He finished his studies in history at the University of Wroclaw and worked in the Museum of the Subcarpathian Mountains in Krosno. He was active in the parties Konfederacja Polski Niepodległej (Confederation of Independent Poland - KPN) and Przymierze Prawicy (Alliance of Rights - PP), after which he joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). He is also a member of the Liga Republikańska (Republican League) and its chairman in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship (Subcarpathian Region).
From 2002 to 2007 he was a member of the Sejmik of Podkarpackie Voivodeship. Before that he was a councilor in Krosno.
In the parliamentary elections in 2007 he was with 8,403 votes on the list of PiS members of the Sejm for the constituency of Krosno. He is a member of the Sejm commissions for culture and parliamentary affairs.
