The mountain hut Pirin ( Bulgarian хижа "Пирин" ; abbreviated: х. Пирин) is one of the lowest mountain huts in the Pirin Mountains in the national park of the same name . It is located in the valley of the Demikapijska river in the area "Trite reki" (Bulgarian Трите реки , dt. The three rivers) at 1640 meters above sea level. The mountain hut was built and put into operation in 1934 under the name Velebit , after the mountains of the same name in Croatia. It was later renamed Trite reki and has had its current name since 1945. The mountain hut is operated by the Bulgarian Tourism Association.
The village of Pirin can be reached via an 18 km long gravel road and the town of Melnik via a hiking route .

The mountain hut has 78 beds on three floors, a dining room, a sales booth and a summer terrace. It's electrified.
