SwissICT is the largest professional association for Swiss information and communication technology . With 210,800 people employed in ICT professions, the industry is an important factor in business and politics. The organization has a total of 3000 members. history

SwissICT was created in 2000 through the merger of two associations - the Swiss Association for Data Processing (SVD, founded in 1968) and the Business Informatics Association (WIF, founded in 1955). This is also the basis of the association's openness for companies as well as for individuals at all hierarchical levels.
