Han Pingdi
Han Pingdi ( Chinese 汉 平 帝 , Pinyin Hàn Píngdì ; * 9 BC ; † 6 AD ) was an emperor of the Chinese western Han dynasty .
Emperor
At the age of nine, Pingdi ascended the throne as the successor to his cousin Han Aidi , who had remained childless. Pingdi was married to a daughter of Wang Mang . He was poisoned and died at the age of 15 as a result of the poisoning. Since he too remained childless, the successor went to Ru Zi after his death .
