Josef Guter

Josef Guter (born September 7, 1929 in Vöhringen ; † June 17, 2014 in Bremen ) was a German author and member of the Bremen Citizenship (CDU).

biography

education and profession

Guter studied humanities in Bamberg, Würzburg, Bremen and Hamburg. He then did a pedagogical activity in Bremen and worked in the public education system of the Hoya district. After that he was director of the Volkshochschule Bremen.

He also turned to poetry and wrote essays, short stories and worked on radio plays. He wrote numerous works on fairy tales of the world, the history of culture and the book. He went on over 30 research and study trips to China .

politics

Guter was a member of the CDU and from 1975 to 1979 a member of the Bremen citizenship.

Honors

He has been awarded by the Georg Michael Pfaff Memorial Foundation.
