The Pisana Hut ( pl. Schronisko na Polanie Pisanej ) was at an altitude of 1020  m npm in Poland in the Western Tatras in the valley Kościeliska on the pasture Polana Pisana . The area belongs to the Kościelisko municipality .

history

The hut was built in 1935. During the Second World War, the hut served as a retreat for resistance fighters . The hut owners, the Berestków couple, were therefore arrested in 1941. The hut was destroyed in fighting between German and Soviet units in January 1945. After the reconstruction in 1946, it was mainly used by visitors to the nearby caves. In 1987 she was blown up by the film crew while making the film Trójkąt Bermudzki . It was not rebuilt afterwards.
