Pisiffik A / S ( German  Where to Buy Something ) is a supermarket chain and wholesale company in Greenland .

history

Pisiffik was founded in 1992 as a division of KNI and privatized in 2001.

Markets

Pisiffik not only runs the supermarkets that run under that name, but also Spar , Torrak Fashion, JYSK , Pisattat, Elgiganten, Nota Bene, and Akiki. In addition, the company operates nationwide wholesale through KK Engros and KK Cash & Carry.

Pisiffik runs a total of 43 branches in the six largest cities in the country:

  • Pisiffik operates four branches in Nuuk , three in Maniitsoq , two each in Aasiaat and Qaqortoq and one each in Ilulissat and Sisimiut .
  • Spar operates three branches each in Ilulissat, Sisimiut and Qaqortoq, two in Aasiaat and one in Nuuk.
  • Torrak has a branch in each of the six locations.
  • JYSK has one branch each in the cities of Aasiaat, Ilulissat, Nuuk, Qaqortoq and Sisimiut.
  • Pisattat operates a branch each in Ilulissat, Nuuk and Sisimiut.
  • Elgiganten has opened a branch in Ilulissat and Nuuk.
  • There is also a branch of Nota Bene and Akiki in Nuuk.
