The Pista di Cava was an uncovered ice rink in the Leventina Valley, a valley in the Swiss canton of Ticino . It had a capacity of 8,000 spectators and was located in the municipality of Quinto , on the left side of the valley of the upper Leventina in Italian-speaking Switzerland . From 1937 to 1959 it was the home ground of the HC Ambrì-Piotta ice hockey club . Then the club moved to the Pista la Valascia .
