The Pistor group of companies has been providing products and services for the food processing industries in Switzerland for more than 100 years and offers competent support in practically all areas such as planning, ordering, delivery and billing. The group includes the independent companies Pistor Holding Genossenschaft, Pistor AG, Proback AG and Fairtrade SA, all of which are based in Rothenburg in Lucerne .

Pistor AG operates in Switzerland and is a trading company for the bakery - confectionery - confectionery and gastronomy sectors . It was founded in 1916 by bakers as a self-help organization to buy groceries and is still a cooperative. Pistor supplies the processing companies in the bakery, confectionery and gastronomy sectors throughout Switzerland with raw materials, semi-finished and finished products as well as non-food items. Pistor also offers medical consumables for care. The range includes over 18,000 chilled, unrefrigerated and frozen items and consists of branded products and a private label range.

Proback AG

Proback AG is a consulting company and 100 percent subsidiary of the Pistor Holding Cooperative. As a non-profit organization, Proback is active, among other things, in promoting market presence and providing business support for the bakery, confectionery and confectionery industries. It offers the industry services such as business mediation, support for start-ups of young companies, organization of business transfers or consultations and coaching.

Fairtrade SA

Fairtrade is a commodities trading company and a 100 percent subsidiary of the Pistor Holding Cooperative. Raw materials such as hazelnut kernels, almonds, sugar, apricots or sultanas determine everyday fair trade. Its customers include chocolate and biscuit factories, producers of semi-finished products, wholesalers, trading companies and beverage manufacturers. It offers them services such as handling contracts, organizing the transport of goods, handling customs formalities or quality control of products.
