Pitane (naiad)

Pitane ( Greek  Πιτάνη ) is the daughter of the river god Eurotas . With Poseidon she had a daughter named Euadne. She is counted among the naiads . It comes from the ancient city of Pitane , after which it is named. Pitane was near today's Çandarlı .
