Planetary Defense Coordination Office
The Planetary Defense Coordination Office (PDCO) is a facility of the US space agency NASA in Washington DC that deals with planetary defense .
It was founded in early 2016. The PDCO is a coordination point for possible measures to protect against impacts . It is affiliated with the Planetary Science Division and is headed by Lindley Johnson.
