Platforma HD was a Russian satellite television provider that broadcast the channel package in HD quality in the European part of the Russian Federation. In addition, the option of transmitting the high-resolution channel package “Platforma HD” into the cable networks was offered.
On July 1, 2012, the offer was switched off without giving a reason and has not been usable since then.

On August 19, 2008, the commercial four-channel package began broadcasting. According to the plan, 200,000 subscribers should be connected within two years. On December 2 of the same year, Platforma HD and Eutelsat reached an agreement to increase the capacity leased on the Eurobird 9A satellite. This made it possible to increase the number of channels to be transmitted.
On February 1, 2009, the transmission of the package, which contained 19 Russian antenna and satellite channels, started. In May 2009, channels such as “Kinopokaz HD-2” (film screening HD-2), “Teleputeschestwija HD” (TV Reisen HD), “Schenskij Mir” (women's world) and “High Life” were added to this package.
On February 2, 2010, the first Russian broadcast in 3D format was presented at the CSTB-2010 exhibition . On February 15, 2010 for the period of the XXI. Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, the channel “2 Sport 2” added to the “Platforma HD” package. On April 1, 2010, the channel "HD Sport" was added to the package, the producer of which is "NTV-Plus". On May 21st, the package was supplemented by the first Russian 3D television channel "3DV". The channel's basic programs are programs on culture and travel, as well as performances by the Mariinsky Theater. Channel reception remained free until January 1, 2011. For the period of the Soccer World Cup 2010 in the Republic of South Africa, Platforma HD broadcast the “2 Sport 2” channel in its channel package. On September 28, 2010, the TV channel "Sport 1 HD" was added to the package.
