Luxe TV is the world's first television broadcaster that is exclusively dedicated to the subject of luxury in all its diversity. The programs produced worldwide are broadcast from the broadcasting center in Luxembourg .

The station has been in bankruptcy since October 15, 2011. On November 12, 2011, the broadcaster announced that it would no longer extend its contracts with cable network operators and would encrypt the satellite signal.

Programming

The programs are made up of reports, magazine programs and reports on innovations in the luxury field. The editorial concept is aimed at discovering the diverse world of luxury. The articles revolve primarily around the topics of beauty & fashion, jewelry & watches, decoration & interior fittings, sports & technology, hotels & gastronomy, cars and airplanes & yachts.

Luxe TV produces its programs worldwide in high definition HDTV with specialized production companies . A new program is created for an hour every day, which is then repeated over a period of 24 hours. Selected contributions will then be broadcast over the weekend in a kind of best of.

Worldwide distribution

The programs, which are produced entirely in high-definition quality, are broadcast in the standard digital format SDTV and high-definition HDTV , currently in six language versions in German , English , French , Italian , Russian and Spanish .

Luxe TV can be received worldwide via satellite , in Europe via the satellites Astra 1G and Hot Bird 7A as well as via Eurobird 1 and Eurobird 9 , in the Middle East via BADR-4 , in Asia via AsiaSat 3S and in Russia via the satellite ABS 1 .
