The msg Plaut AG is an Austrian IT service provider with headquarters in Vienna , Austria.
history
The company was founded in 1946 by Hans-Georg Plaut in Hanover. He developed the marginal budgeting, which is the basis of all cost management methods to this day. The cooperation with SAP began in 1982 , during which more than 2,500 projects were implemented. In 1990 the company went public, in 2006 it merged with the acctus group (AT, RO, CZ) and in 2007 acctus Consulting Polska and in 2008 B&A Insurance Consulting (CZ) were founded. In 2010 the acctus group was renamed Plaut. Furthermore, Plaut Consulting LLC (RUS) was founded and Plaut was named SAP Quality Partner of the Year. In 2011 msg systems AG became a major shareholder and in 2016 it became the major shareholder of Plaut AG. The Plaut company has been managed by the two managing directors Georg Krause and Raimund Binder since 2017. In 2017, around 300 employees generated sales of around € 30 million.
Since July 2, 2019, Plaut Consulting Austria GmbH and msg systems GmbH have been operating together in Austria as msg Plaut Austria GmbH . With the completed merger of the two traditional IT houses, the focus on the DA-CH region and the growth course in the CEE and CIS countries will be strengthened from the Vienna headquarters.
