PlayStation Video is a video-on-demand service that makes it possible to watch TV series and films online. The service was first offered by the former Sony Entertainment Network as Video Unlimited in January 2010.

On behalf of film studios such as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieh Century Fox and Universal Pictures, TV series and newly released films as well as selected older films were made available. In November 2010, Video Unlimited (now PlayStation Video) began distributing online content in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy and Spain and has since expanded to Japan, Canada and Australia. The content can be played from PC and other devices such as Sony Blu-Ray devices, PlayStation consoles, smartphones and tablets, BRAVIA TVs and some portable music devices.
