The Playa Del Lobero (Spanish for beach of the sealers is) a beach on the banks of Barclay Bay of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . On the west side of Cape Shirreff on the northern foothills of the John Paul II Peninsula, it is located between Punta Las Torres in the north and Punta Mann in the south.
Chilean scientists of the 42nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1987–1988) named it after they found remains of seal hunts from the 19th century here.
