The Plaza Murillo is the main square in La Paz , the seat of government of Bolivia. It is named after the independence fighter Pedro Domingo Murillo . At the Plaza Murillo are the Cathedral of La Paz , the Congress and the former government palace with the directly adjacent new government building, the Casa Grande del Pueblo .
