Louis Seeger

Louis Seeger (* 1794 ; † 1865 ) was a German dressage rider who studied the art of classical dressage with Maximilian Weyrother at the Spanish Riding School in Vienna. Through Weyrother he was strongly influenced by de la Guérinière .

Seeger was also one of the greatest critics of François Baucher , a controversial French riding master.

He founded Germany's first private riding school in Berlin, where he passed on his knowledge to Gustav Steinbrecht .
