history
The company was founded by Anton Plenk as a book printing company after the Second World War . The first publications were a hiking guide for the Berchtesgadener Land and books on contemporary history. After Anton Plenk was elected mayor of Berchtesgaden in 1980, his two sons took over the printing company and expanded it into two independent companies (printing and publishing) from 1997 onwards.
