Luigi Gervasi
Luigi Gervasi (born before 1947) is a production designer .
Life
Gervasi began his career in film crew 1947. 1950 he worked with Totò as Sheikh for the first time at a Totò - comedy . Until 1959 he worked on a total of nine Totò vehicles, including Tototarzan and Mein Allerwertester .
In 1968 he was nominated for the Oscar in the category Best Production Design for Franco Zeffirelli's literary adaptation The Taming of the Shrew, together with Lorenzo Mongiardino , John DeCuir , Elven Webb , Giuseppe Mariani and Dario Simoni , but the award went to the musical Camelot - Am Hofe that year King Arthur .
Gervasi's last film work was Osvaldo Civirani’s historical drama Lucretia Borgia - The Pope's Daughter from 1968.
