Plum's Kaffee is a coffee roasting company founded in Aachen in 1820 and is considered the oldest German coffee roasting company.
history
Xavier Plum founded the coffee roasting company Plum's Kaffee in Aachen in 1820 . The parent company of the large coffee roastery with attached sales rooms was at Büchel No. 41. In addition, the company had numerous representative shops, such as in the 1920s on the corner of Kaiserplatz and Adalbertsteinweg 1.
The ownership changed several times until Jürgen Vogeler joined the company in 1965 and took it over completely in 1983. Today Jürgen Vogeler, together with his son Ralf Vogeler, runs the coffee roasting company as a GmbH & Co. KG with 15 employees.
Companies
In addition to the coffee roastery, the family company operates several branches in Aachen and sells espresso machines from its own workshop, along with service. Gourmets regularly recommend Plum's coffee. Deliveries to customers are made directly from the roastery without any intermediate trade.
