Foundation and company history
Plural servicepool was founded in 1917 by Heinrich Becker as the "Hannöversches Glas- und Parquetreinigungsinstitut".
In 1936 the company added the specialty of hospital cleaning to its range of services. In the 1950s, the company offered services in the field of building cleaning under the name “Blitz Blank”.
In 1965 the first branch was founded in Göttingen; further branches followed.
In 1978 the range of services was expanded to include the area of " property protection ".
1986 Jürgen Thomas became the new managing director. The company changed its name to Plural servicepool.
In 1991 the head office was in the northern part of Hanover.
In 1994, on the initiative of employees, the Plural management founded the Vitus eV association to support people in need.
In 2005, the company founded the association Aktion Sonnenstrahl eV together with entrepreneurs and business people from the Hanover region. The association offers children in socially disadvantaged districts of Hanover a free lunch and supports games and handicrafts, homework help and the like. a.
In 2009 the PLURAL Group (excluding Austria) was taken over by the Compass Group .
