The Plus City is a shopping center in Pasching in Upper Austria . It is located on the Kremstal Straße (B139) southwest of Linz, known as the shopping mile, and was opened on October 19, 1989.
Measured in terms of sales area of around 70,000 m², PlusCity is the largest shopping center in Upper Austria and, together with the G3 Shopping Resort Gerasdorf, the fourth largest in Austria, after the SCS , the Donau Zentrum and the Shopping City Seiersberg . PlusCity houses a total of 220 companies and employs 2,100 people. There are 4,200 parking spaces available. The customer frequency averages 20,000 people per day.
The shopping center emerged from Plus Kaufland , a department store belonging to the Pfeiffer Group. In several construction stages, the department store became a shopping center. The original Plus Kaufland on the ground floor has now been taken over by Spar and converted into an Interspar store.
The mall was expanded by around 140 million euros from 2015. As part of the renovation, the Hollywood Megaplex cinema was relocated directly to the shopping center and the previously used building was torn down to create an additional parking garage. The reopening took place at the end of August 2016.
