Plutonia (actually: Ortrud ) Plarre (born June 20, 1955 in Oschersleben ) is a German journalist and filmmaker.

Plarre is the daughter of the botanist Werner Plarre and grew up in Berlin-Dahlem . She has been working for taz since 1979 . She has been working as an editor in the Berlin section since 1986, focusing on the interior, justice and society.

In 2012 she received the Grimme Online Award together with seven other people in charge of the photo film series berlin Followers . In 2014 her 60-minute documentary "Third checkout please!" Sihiab Ahmed and his sons .
