Pneuhage is a group of companies headquartered in Karlsruhe , whose core business is the retail and wholesale trade of tires and rims for vehicles of all kinds.

history

The father and grandfather Karl-Heinz and Karl Schütterle of today's managing director Peter Schütterle founded Pneuhage tire services in 1953. 17 years later, in 1970, the wholesale company Interpneu was founded. In 1986/87 the tire and rim brand was platinum added to the range. Pneuhage tire renewal technology was founded in 1987. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the company recorded growth in the 1990/1991 business year in the new federal states in the areas of wholesale / retail and retreading. The Pneuhage sales partner system was introduced in 1998. Pneuhage Service GmbH was founded in 1999 to support sales partners and major customers.

In 1999 Pneuhage Poland was founded. Pneuhage joined Germany-wide fleet service in 2000 (co-founding of the International Fleet Service Organization). The Pneuhage Foundation was established in 2003 to promote education and training. In 2004 the company took a stake in the French tire wholesaler EROL (based in Paris). In 2008 the construction of a Europe-wide central warehouse for car tires began in Speyer. The warehouse in Karlsruhe was enlarged in 2009 and new logistics for aluminum rims were introduced. The complete wheel assembly in Karlsruhe was expanded in 2009. Pneuhage has been a member of the "Fleetpartner" fleet accounting service since 2009. Pneuhage tire services received the German Service Prize from DISQ in 2010/11 . In 2016, Reifen Ehrhardt with its headquarters in Wulften am Harz and 27 branches in Northern Germany was taken over.

With the retail companies Pneuhage Reifendienste Süd GmbH and Pneuhage Reifendienste Ost GmbH, the group has a service and branch network with 88 (as of March 2013) own tire retailers.

Wholesale

The wholesale company Interpneu Handelsgesellschaft mbH sells tires, rims and accessories nationally and internationally. The range also includes the own brand Platin (tires and light alloy rims) introduced in 1987 . Interpneu has several individual warehouses in Karlsruhe and Nossen as well as Speyer .

Partner companies

Pneuhage Service GmbH (PSG) looks after more than 220 entrepreneurially independent tire dealerships that are integrated into the service network in the form of a partner concept. Similarly, key account customers , d. H. Mainly nationally active major customers (e.g. car leasing companies , larger company fleets , forwarding agents ) are looked after by PSG.

Retreading

Pneuhage tire renewal technology GmbH has two of its own production facilities in Karlsruhe and Nossen for the retreading of commercial vehicle tires . In these plants, more than 50,000 truck tires are retreaded annually using a Recamic (part of Michelin ) cold retreading process .

Management and administration

Pneuhage Management GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for the central management and administration of the corporate group. Pneuhage Vermögensverwaltung GmbH & Co. KG is responsible for managing the real estate.

Foundation, endowment

The non-profit Pneuhage Foundation finances in cooperation with the Verein für Jugendhilfe e. V. social competence training for school-leaving classes (including application, behavior and communication training, support in preparing application documents) in Karlsruhe. In addition, further training measures for teachers are promoted.

The group of companies is a manufacturer-independent family company and a member of the Bundesverband Reifenhandel und Vulkaniseurhandwerk e. V.

Consolidated sales in 2009 amounted to 313 million euros and rose to 410 million euros in 2011.
