The Pošumavská jižní dráha (PJD) is a museum railway on the Haidmühle – Wallern section of the former United Bohemian Forest Local Railways .

description

There is a two-part railway museum between the Nové Údolí train station and the end of the border bridge in Germany . Exhibits and information about the entire route are housed in three old freight cars that are at the end of the ČD track .

After a track break, over which the road between the no longer used border control points leads, the museum railway begins. The PJD calls itself the shortest international railroad in the world. The route is 105 meters long and connects Czech and German territory. It can only be boarded in the Czech Republic , the route is no longer connected to the ČD network. A journey by train takes 24 seconds.
