Pobedit

Pobedit is a sintered tungsten carbide-cobalt hard metal made from approx. 90% tungsten carbide as the hard phase, approx. 10% cobalt as the binding phase and small amounts of carbon . It is used as a cutting material for the manufacture of cutting tools . The hardness is 85 to 90 HRA . Pobedit was developed in 1929 in the USSR by the company of the same name.
