Poblado Aramendía , also known as Aramendía , is a town in Uruguay .

geography

It is located in the Lavalleja department in sector 9 . The nearest larger settlements are Pirarajá, 15 kilometers southwest, and the city of José Pedro Varela, about the same distance to the north . The Cerro Retamosa can be found in the immediate northwest of the town . The Arroyo Sarandí , a small tributary of the Río Cebollatí, has its source here .

Infrastructure

The village, located on Ruta 8 , houses a school with Escuela No.41 .

Residents

The population of Poblado Aramendías is 96 (as of 2011), of which 53 are male and 43 are female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985 and 1996 .
