history
Poclain was a manufacturer of hydraulic excavators. 1968 founded together with Poclain Potain SA , the joint venture Potain Poclain Matériel , the cranes built. In 1974, after a recession, the founding Bataille family was forced to sell to Case , which took over the company completely in 1987. However, the production of hydraulic motors remained with the family.
