The Pointe Blanche ( French for White Headland ) is a mostly icy headland in the northern section of the east coast of the Pétrel Island in the Géologie Archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is located northeast of Mont Cervin between the Chenal Buffon and the Anse de la Baleinière .
French scholars named it descriptively in 1977.
