The Polarårboken Glacier is a glacier on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of Princess Elisabeth Land in East Antarctica . It flows in a westerly direction into the northern part of the Publications Ice Shelf , which it reaches 5 km northeast of the Steinane archipelago .
The American cartographer John Hobbie Roscoe (1919-2007) mapped it using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946-1947). Roscoe named the glacier after the magazine Polarårboken (Norwegian for polar yearbook ) of the Norsk Polarklubb in Oslo , Norway .
