Polini Motori spa is an Italian vehicle construction and tuning company from Alzano Lombardo near Bergamo .
The spare parts plant is located in Bergamo. The company is a family business of the Battista family, which the children of the company's founder, Polini Battista, run today.
Products
The Polini product range includes many tuning parts for light motorcycles and scooters, such as cylinder kits, clutches or exhaust systems. The parts are intended for racing and are therefore rarely approved for road use. In addition to these products, Polini also manufactures its own motorcycles , light motorcycles and pocket bikes .
The 70 cm³ Polini cylinder Evolution II from the automatic scooter range can generate over 21 hp on the rear wheel with the appropriate accessories (exhaust, crankshaft, carburetor, etc.). A 207 cc engine suitable for the Vespa PX achieves over 30 hp on the rear wheel.
Racing
The company's products won the previous five titles in the FIM - Motorcycle Road Racing World Championship : three cc in the class up to 125 (two with Loris Capirossi and one with Valentino Rossi ), a cc in the class to 500 and one in the MotoGP class (each with Valentino Rossi).
