political orange
politikorange is an open youth media project of the youth press Germany . Under the guidance of young journalists, young people create magazines on various topics and events, such as party conferences, congresses or festivals. In addition to the classic print format, politikorange appears as a blog. In addition, video and radio productions are published.
politikorange was created in 2002 on the occasion of the Politics Days in Berlin together with the youth participation service center . The color orange in the name was chosen based on the youth participation movement. The corresponding fruit is used repeatedly for design purposes.
The concept of the project is to give young people the opportunity to try their hand at journalism and gain experience in the form of independent teaching editors.
There is a similar project of the European Youth Press under the name Orange .
