Pollock-Krasner Foundation

The Pollock-Krasner Foundation is an American foundation that has been awarding The Pollock-Krasner Foundation Award as an art prize since 1985 . It was founded by Lee Krasner (1908–1984), an abstract expressionist painter who was married to Jackson Pollock (1912–1956), ( Action Painting ).

The foundation would like to support professional, free artists financially. The Pollock-Krasner Foundation is intended to enable the career to be continued. The foundation has distributed $ 54 million to artists in 72 countries to date.

Artists can apply to the Pollock-Krasner Foundation themselves.
