The Scotia Center is a tall office building in Calgary , Alberta , Canada . The building is located at 700 2nd Street SW and has 42 floors and a height of 155 meters. The building was designed in an international style . It has a three-story podium that houses a shopping mall . It was completed in 1976. The construction cost was $ 30 million. A restaurant is located on a section of the podium roof. Scotiabank is one of the largest tenants in the building.
