The Grupa Polmlek is one of the largest companies in the dairy industry in Poland . The group achieved a turnover of around EUR 350 million in 2009 and was fourth in the market behind the companies Mlekpol , Mlekovita and the Polish branch of Danone . The company is based in Pułtusk in the Masovian Voivodeship .

In the early 1990s, the company was founded by the two partners Andrzej Grabowski and Jerzy Borucki. Initially, milk powder and casein were traded . In 1994 the first dairy ( Zakład Mleczarski w Gąsewie k. Makowa Mazowieckiego ) was acquired. After further acquisitions, the group now comprises 11 companies. Around 1.4 million liters of milk are bought and processed every day. The group generates 65% of sales in Poland. Mainly milk powder is exported, which is mainly sold to Russia, Romania and Hungary.

Well-known brands of the group are the product brands “Capresi”, “Q-Yogurt”, “Uchaty” and “Warmia” as well as the manufacturer brands “Mackowy”, “Mlawa”, “Serwar” and “Starco”. The company sponsors sports and cultural events. The support for the activities on the anniversary of the Battle of Tannenberg is particularly well known .
