Polydora (Danaide)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Polydora ( Greek  Πολυδώρα ) is a figure in Greek mythology .

She was one of the 50 daughters of the Argive king Danaos . From a river god - Peneios or Spercheios , depending on tradition - she became the mother of Dryops , who gave the Dryoper its name .

Possibly she is to be regarded as identical with Polydora , the daughter of Peleus .
