Pond was a band from Portland . The band was formed in 1991 and split in 1998. They released their first two albums on the Sub Pop label and their last album on Work Records , a sub-label of Sony Music .
On October 23, 2010, Pond reunited to play Satyricon in light of the Portland club's closure .
