Pool is a village in the English district of Cornwall .

It is located in West Cornwall between Redruth and Camborne on the A30 and the A 3047 between Tuckingmill and the Illogan Highway.

Trevenson Chapel
  • The Trevenson Chapel was built in 1809 by Lord de Dunstanville and Basset because of the growing mining settlement.

Infrastructure

The South Crofty Mine was one of the employers until its closure in 1998 . The station was permanently closed to passengers in 1961 and then to freight in 1967, and the nearest station on the Cornish Main Line is now either in Redruth or Camborne. The so-called Innovation Center is now the business hub of the place.
