history
The open-air arena opened in 1980 and closed in 1994. During the 14 years, the area, which consisted of a covered pavilion and a grassy field, hosted many concerts by internationally known artists such as Eric Clapton , Elton John and AC / DC . Eric Clapton holds the audience record for the theater. The Brit sold 25,057 tickets during his 1992 World Tour .
