Port Albemarle ( Spanish : Puerto Santa Eufemia ) is a small settlement on the Falkland Islands . The place is located at the southern end of West Falkland and, with the surrounding landscape, is considered one of the most beautiful on the island.

In the 19th century, Albemarle was a station for sea lions hunting due to its natural harbor protected by the Arch Islands offshore . Ruins of the abandoned station buildings can still be seen today. As a result of the Second World War, the place, like Ajax Bay , was to be developed as a settlement by the Commonwealth Development Corporation . However, the Nissen huts , piers and the specially built power plant built in this context have now fallen into disrepair. Today there is only a small sheep farm near the village.
