Porta d'Europa
The Porta d'Europa ( Catalan for 'Europe Gate') is a bascule bridge in the port of Barcelona . Their span is 106 meters. The bridge was designed by Juan José Arenas de Pablo and completed in July 2000.
The span of the bridge from swivel to swivel is 109 meters. This is the longest span of any European bascule bridge.
