The Porzellanmanufactur Plaue was founded in Plaue in Thuringia in 1817 .
history
This became known Thuringian manufacturer through their since 1849 at the suggestion of Gottfried Henklein made lithophanes , which was then in the form of window frames and light shades and today as Lithophanie lights are manufactured. In the 1930s, Bruno Schäfer designed for Manufactur. After reunification , the Porzellanmanufactur Plaue was taken over by the Porzellanfabrik Tettau (a 100% subsidiary of Seltmann Weiden ) in 1995 and still produces today in the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanmanufaktur in Volkstedt (Rudolstadt) .
Products
The range of cans, bowls, mirrors, candlesticks, etc. is highly valued by enthusiasts and collectors . The production takes place entirely by hand, whereby the authenticity of the modeling and painting by hand based on the original template is guaranteed.
