The Porzellanmanufaktur Scheibe-Alsbach is a porcelain manufacturer of the Tettau GmbH based in Rudolstadt ( Thuringia ).
history
The house where the glassmaker Johann Gotthelf Greiner was born is also located in Scheibe-Alsbach . He is considered to be the founder of the Thuringian porcelain industry.
In 1972 the company became a state-owned company and belonged to the "VEB Vereinigte Zierporzellanwerke Lichte". After reunification, it was taken over in 1990 by the Königlich Privileged Porzellanfabrik Tettau , a wholly owned subsidiary of the Seltmann Weiden group of companies .
