The Posadowsky Glacier is a glacier on the sub-Antarctic Bouvet Island . It flows from the Kraterisen in a northerly direction to the Morgenstierne coast , which it reaches about 1.5 km east of Cape Circoncision .
It was first mapped during the Valdivia expedition (1898–1899) under the direction of the German zoologist Carl Chun . He named it after Arthur von Posadowsky-Wehner (1845-1932), who, as State Secretary in the Reich Office of the Interior, provided the financial means for the expedition.
