The post office complex consisted of two farm buildings and a small former residential building with a cloister. The access portico had four pillars from the side of the main building. In terms of number of buildings, size and services offered, the Jonava post office was in the third class. Like other stagecoach stations in Lithuania , it became a post-telegraph station.
