Power stick
The power stick is an accumulator that is charged via the USB port of a computer and can then supply smartphones and PDAs with power via the supplied adapter . It looks like a USB stick and weighs only 40 grams. The integrated display shows how much energy is still available. According to the manufacturer Ecosol Inc., when the power stick is fully charged it takes about 35 minutes for it to transfer its energy to a mobile phone . Also under the name PowerStick, the Swiss manufacturer SwissBatteries Sistech AG has a mobile battery-powered charger in its range.
The Powerstick was awarded the “Best of Innovations” award 2007 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas .
