Premonetary Value Theory
As Prämonetäre theory of value is denoted by Hans-Georg Backhaus explanations of the capitalist economic system in which the money has an external and insignificant role.
Backhaus wrote 1978 value-form analysis of Karl Marx :
It can be shown that the value form analysis only gains a tangible meaning and non-trivial information content if it is interpreted as a criticism of premonet theories of value and in one with it as a qualitative theory of money. This dual character of Marx's analysis of form can only be recognized and worked out on the basis of a 'logical' reception.
Accordingly, both the labor quantity theory of classical bourgeois economy, the theory of Proudhonism of the validity of a simple law of value and Friedrich Engels ' interpretation of Marx's method of representing the criticism of political economy as a logical-historical method are premonetic , and consequently also orthodox Marxism , Marxism-Leninism and large parts of Western Marxism .
